HOW CAN I VOLUNTEER AT BURWOOD HOSPITAL

Anyone over 18 years of age can apply. Men, women, students, business people, retirees and homemakers all volunteer to help. What you do need is time - two to four hours a week, enthusiasm, interest and commitment. Once you've decided to help, we have to be able to rely on you like other staff.

All volunteers are carefully interviewed and required to undergo a security check. You will be given an orientation to Burwood Hospital and on-going training depending on the area in which you choose to work. If you want, you can transfer to another area as time goes on. Your time at Burwood Hospital with us will provide you with varied experiences and enjoyment.
